Citadell Hill is a National Historic Site of Canada. It is there because it was used for overlooking the Halifax harbour in 1749. It is located here because it was an ideal spot for overlooking the Halifax Harbour to defend against attacks from the French and Acadians. This is an important place because it holds the history of how Halifax came together. |
