The Appalachian Mountains region has many hills and waterways, in the lower part of the mountains and there are many valleys around the Appalachian mountains, which are good for human use. There are many trees. Fir and Spruce trees are found in the higher parts of the mountains and beeches and oaks are found in the lower parts of the mountain.

Climate change will greatly impact Halifax, the impacts that it will have include water shortages, power outages, and no radio transmissions. Climate change will cause Halifax to be extremely humid, which may cause a forest fire or destroy crops, and without enough water, could lead Halifax and all of Canada in a devastating famine.
